Experience
The Little Mermaid
This was my first show, and first summer stock show, at Tibbits Opera House. Where I played one of Ariels Sisters, Aquata and ensemble. This was an incredible role being able to run around backstage and transform into a mermaid, clown fish, and a princess. Being able to perform in this show was magical.
Grease
I was cast into the ensemble for this production of Grease at Tibbits Opera House. Performing with tremendous talents and being able to jump around and watch the show unfold was an experience I will never forget.
Alice In Wonderland
This show was very special to me because I performed this show back in high school. Being able to perform this produciton at Tibbits Opera House was something special. Our first show was unfortunately canceled due to a water main break, but our director said "The Show Must Go On!", So, that morning we got into costume and met all of the amazing children that planned to come see that show. Seeing there eyes light up that day will be something I will cherish forever.
No Exit
Inez was the remarkable character I got to portay in this production, and she was not an easy role. The development and ideology this character had was very intricate that you had to know the ins and out of that character to perform Inez. During my time of this production I was also working on set construction. We built a 3 quarter thrust in our black box at LaGrange College.
A Few Good Men
I was fortunate enough to be able to portray Jo Galloway my sophmore year at LaGrange. This was truly one of my favorite characters. Her stance on women's rights spoke to me and people that watched this performance, and I was grateful to be able to be the one to show this version of Jo. I was also on set construction for this show and was able to build my character while building the set.
Antigone
I portrayed Antigone in this production at LaGrange, and it was my first ever show at LaGrange. It was during the time that Covid-19 shut everything down. So, our creative team came up with a solution to build mask that formed to our face with cloth on the inside.
The Mousetrap
I portrayed Mollie in this production at LaGrange College. It was a phenomenal experience. Also, during this time I was the Scenic Artist for this show. Where I painted stencils on the wall to look as though it had wallpaper.
Pump Boys and Dinettes
I had the pleasure of being the Properties Manager for this show. Where I built from scratch a fake apple and pecan pie. Along with coming up with the idea to have our men be able to physically catch fish from our pit. This was a wonderful interative prop show and being able to craft every one of them was a challenge to say the least, but very rewarding at the end.
Marvelous Wonderettes
For this show I was the Scenic Artist, and I was very proud of the outcome of this show. I painted a 4 foot chipmunk on one of our doors on the stage. Along with making the the stage look like it was the flooring to a gymnasium. This is where i fell in love with painting and I hope to continue this passion.
